In a move to become an “all-electric luxury brand,” JLR is looking to dramatically increase its EV portfolio and grow its luxury brand. Land Rover promises six electric variants in the next five years, with the first one to be introduced in 2024. Also on the horizon is JLR’s commitment to becoming a net zero carbon business by 2039. Aside from market trends leaning towards EVs and overall greener vehicles, Jaguar has been encouraged by the success and acclaim of its I-Pace all-electric performance SUV.
