Mario Golf: Super Rush was announced at yesterday’s Nintendo Direct livestream. With a wide cast of characters and multiple modes, this looks like another well-made Mario-themed sport game.
Aside from a normal golf mode, the game packs in two additional modes. Speed Golf looks just what it sounds like: a chaotic race against other players across a golf course with rushed shots with the goal of sinking your shot first.

Story Mode allows players to adjust their stats such as strength and speed to help them overcome certain challenges that arise on their quest as they meet other characters.

It was also revealed that there will be motion controls available using the Joy-Con controllers. The demo video showed just how they would work when driving or putting.
Mario Golf: Speed Rush will be released on June 25th, 2021.
