OnePlus announced their latest series of phone today, the 9 series. The phone maker revealed two models of phones as well as the OnePlus Watch.
The OnePlus 9 Pro features an updated camera system, improved touch recognition and fluid display technology, improved charging experiences, as well as a larger battery. The 9 Pro is run by the new Qualcomm snapdragon 888 5G chipset. OnePlus’s new flagship has Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6.
Hyper Touch is an improved screen technology that is extra sensitive to touch and produces an overall smoother experience when interacting with the screen. Together with the 120hz refresh rate, users will have an improved gaming experience on the phone.
The 9 Pro features a 4500 mAh battery, which is slightly larger than last year’s 8 Pro’s 4300 mAh battery. Warp Speed has been improved upon; users can charge their phones with a wire up to 65% in 15 minutes and to a full charge in 29 minutes. Wirelessly, the 9 Pro can charge in vertical or horizontal orientation, allowing users to watch content in landscape while on the wireless charging stand. A full charge on the wireless charging stand can be accomplished in 43 minutes.
The OnePlus Pro will be sold for $1069 while the OnePlus 9 starts at $729.
