Tesla rolled out the ability for U.S. consumers to purchase their electric vehicles using Bitcoin. Along with the addition on the website, Elon Musk tweeted out the news this morning.
He also gave a preview of when it would be available for the rest of the world in a follow-up tweet.
He also noted that the company would not be converting Bitcoin into U.S. dollars but would retain the cryptocurrency as is. This is unsurprising after the company invested $1.5 billion into Bitcoin earlier this year.
Currently, 1 Bitcoin equals 56,828.20 U.S. Dollars.
